This is to remind the Polytechnic Community and the general Public at large that the 20th Edition of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)/Nigeria Polytechnics Senior Staff Games (NIPOSSGA), tagged ‘OGWASHI-UKU 2021 GAMES’ will be hosted by our Polytechnic from 5th November to 14th November, 2021.
The Games which will feature multiple sporting events will attract participants from all Nigeria Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Technology and other Stakeholders like the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria.
Addressing Staff recently, the Rector called on Staff and Students to attend the opening Ceremony enmass, and put on their best conducts to welcome the visitors. He also charged the environmental workers to keep the compound clean.
The opening Ceremony, which will feature parades and cultural dances, is slated for 6th November, 2021 at 2 p.m. Venue is the Football Pitch near the Gate (Permanent Site).
Speaking further, Professor Achuenu urged our Athletes to put in their best to ensure we host to win!
NB: Only Traders who duly registered with the Polytechnic’s Sport Committee will be allowed to sell or ply their goods and services at the Games as Task Force shall be on ground to enforce this.
