Dr. Odimientimi Desmond Agbedeyi serves as Dean of the School of Applied Sciences at Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku. He is an academic, researcher, statistician and mathematician who has contributed to teaching, research, academic administration and scholarly development within the institution.

His research interests span applied mathematics, statistics, optimisation theory, stochastic processes, artificial intelligence, forecasting models, survey methodology and sustainable development. His work applies mathematical and statistical methods to practical problems in areas such as financial modelling, data analytics and emerging technologies.

Dr. Agbedeyi has authored and co-authored scholarly publications, including research on digital-currency forecasting using Geometric Brownian Motion and Artificial Neural Network models, as well as studies involving systematic sampling techniques for survey research.

Beyond academia, he is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Egberi Media International, a digital media organisation involved in public enlightenment, education, research communication, development reporting and policy analysis. Through this platform, he supports knowledge dissemination and research-based discussion on governance, education, science, technology and sustainable development.
